Juey Chong Ong
Partner

For over twenty years, Juey has been involved in helping people understand and get the job done with technology. He has engineered systems for large corporations and small businesses, and conducted technology coaching for groups and individuals, helping them integrate appropriate technology into their lives. The people he has helped include a noted author, educator and color consultant, and a long-time composer, arranger, conductor and performer of music for commercials in television and radio. A former student of computer scientists and noted authors Ben Shneiderman and Steven Feiner, Juey has recognized early on, that for most people, technology is a means and not an end. By understanding the needs of the individual, he formulates solutions that provide a “best fit” for the individual’s goals in life and in work.

Juey holds a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Maryland at College Park and a M.S. in Computer Science from Columbia University. Nanther Thangarajah
Partner

Nanther got into trouble at a young age. Driven with an insatiable curiosity for “How Stuff Works”, he has been asking questions, taking things apart and sharing knowledge with the people around him for about twenty years. He got his first computer in 1983, and his first job was working at the same store he bought it from, helping folks figure things out.

He wanted a degree in Computer Science but decided instead on a B.A. in Psychology from American University with Computer Science qualifications, bringing his understanding of people on par with his understanding of computers. He uses this extensively when he’s teaching or otherwise providing human-centric solutions to the technology issues people face. He couples this same understanding with near-infinite patience, and can help separate Hype from Hope, Knowledge from Wisdom and Cynicism from Caution.

Having previously managed the help desk at American University, being the network and systems administrator for their newspaper and providing technical consulting for the likes of MetLife, Emigrant Bank, Avanti Press and Steven Meisel Studios, he brings all his experience and knowledge to bear in his current endeavor as IT Director for Greenfield/Belser.
